An unidentified man tried to break into Bank of Bhutan’s ATM, located behind MKTS building in Thimphu, late into the night, yesterday.
A source told BBS that footage from surveillance camera show the man wearing a hood and his face completely covered. He also had gloves on.
The building’s owner reported the break in to the bank, this morning. The bank has forwarded the case to police.
An official from BoB said it is futile to attempt breaking into ATMs. He said the cash are secured inside the machine.
