The Indian Embassy handed over a cheque of Nu 425 M to the Gross National Happiness Commission (GNHC), under the 11th Five Year’s programme grant.
The Secondary Secretary of the Indian Embassy, S. Koventhan handed over the cheque to GNHC’s Director Thinley Namgyel, yesterday.
The Government of India has committed Nu 8.5 B for program grant under the 11th five year plan.
Over Nu 4.6 B has been release so far.
