East-West Highway widening nearing completion: Lyonpo Dorji Choden

East-West Highway widening nearing completion- Lyonpo Dorji ChodenWorks and human settlement minister, Dorji Choden said almost 70 percent of the widening work of East-West Highway is complete.

Lyonpo said more than 90 percent of the road widening work should be complete by October 2017.

“When we look at our progress, we are making vigorous efforts in monitoring the quality. We have a monitoring team at the headquarter and we have a monitoring team which goes around. They visit twice a month to monitor.”
