Students arrested for alleged substance abusePhuentshogling police arrested three students for allegedly involved in substance abuse, yesterday. The police apprehended the teenagers at Rinchending check post when the suspects were looking for a lift to Thimphu.

Police recovered eight pieces of controlled substance from the trio.

Police say the students were under the influence of controlled substances during the arrest. Two suspects are student at one of the schools in Chhukha. The other suspect is a student in Thimphu.

The students have been handed over to Bhutan Narcotics Control Authority for rehabilitation, today.
