BICMA hands back Drukdra Lingpai Tashi case to film associationBhutan InfoComm and Media Authority (BICMA) has sent back Drukdra Lingpai Tashi case to Bhutan Film Association saying it is an administrative issue.

The association says they will make a final decision after a board meeting, later this month.

A scriptwriter had lodged a complaint in February accusing the scriptwriter of copying the screenplay from a foreign film, Tess of the D’Ubervillies.

A popular actor-director, Gyem Dorji had written the screenplay. The film won majority of the awards including the best film and screenplay in February.
