The National Women Basketball team won their first international match against Bangladesh during the South Asian Basketball Association Championship, Saturday. They defeated Bangladesh, 61 points to 29.
Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka took part in the five-day championship held in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu.
Sri Lanka bagged the title after defeating Nepal in the final. Bhutan stood at the fourth place.
