Thimphu Police detained two men Monday for alleged illicit trafficking of Brown Sugar, an adulterated form of heroin, a powerful illegal drug.
The men, both aged 28, were found consuming the substance in a car at Zilukha, said the police.
If convicted, they will be sentenced to prison terms of 15 years to life. Similar case was first intercepted in the country in 2004.
