His Majesty the King granted Dhar to five new Gups who were elected during local government bye-election, yesterday.
The new gups are Rinzin from Dramedtse Gewog in Monggar, Nim Dorji from Gakiling Gewog in Haa, Prem Bhadur Ghalley from Tading Gewog in Samtse, Sonam Dhendup from Langthil Gewog in Trongsa and Padam Singh Monger from Dekiling Gewog in Sarpang. The bye-elections were held last year.
