Four candidates vie for Phuentshogling Thrompon post

Phuentshogling Thromde has four candidates contesting for the post of Thrompon. One lost his nomination during the zomdu, yesterday.

Former Thrompon Tsheten Dorji will contest again from the Phuentshogling Maed Constituency. Uttar Rai will contest from Neydra while Sangay Tamang will contest from Pekharzhing Constituency. From Rinchending, Jigme Dorji will contest.

Phuentsholing Thromde has 6 constituencies while Pasakha and Phuentshogling Toed did not have any nominee.

They will now have to file in their nominations to the Election Commission of Bhutan.

The election scrutiny process will be completed by December 31.
