MoU worth Nu 14.7 M signed

MoU worth Nu 300 M signedA Memorandum of Understanding, which will allow a construction of Wangsel Institute’s hostel in Paro for hearing-impaired female students, worth Nu 14.7 M, was signed in Thimphu, today.

The education minister, Mingbo Dukpa signed the MoU with Pro Bhutan, Germany Association’s Executive Chairman, Harald N. Nestroy.

The construction will be funded by the German Association.

The general agreement for the same was signed in March, 2011.

The Pro Bhutan, Germany Association, initially referred to as German Bhutan Health Friends Association is a Non Governmental Organization with private German citizens as its members.

The project has built seven buildings in the country till now.
