The newly constructed lhakhang is an architectural marvel. According to the people, the monastery is one of the most beautifully decorated and designed lhakhangs in the country.

The lhakhang houses the old lhakhang in the center, which was partly damaged by the fire in 2010.

“Without a lhakhang, people were facing problem in conducting rituals and local festivals. So we completed the construction in just three years, as per the Royal Command,” said Pemalingpa Foundation’s Chairman, Karma.

The construction costs Nu 103M, funded by Sungthrel Rinpochoe. The government also chipped in Nu 11.2 M.
