An 80-year-old Indian man died on board a Drukair flight to Singapore today. A press release from the national airline states that the incident happened 35 minutes before descent to Singapore.
The deceased had gone to the toilet accompanied by his son and reportedly collapsed inside the toilet. Despite immediate Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by a physician on board, the passenger could not be revived.
Going by the local regulation, Drukair officials handed over the body to Singapore local authorities in presence of family members of the deceased.
