A 33-year-old man from Yangneer sustained serious injuries on the ride side of his face and eye in a leopard attack, yesterday morning. He was attacked near Karuna House- a dog shelter, a few kilometers away from Trashigang town towards Rangjung.
The man is said to be in a stable condition. He was referred to Trashigang hospital at around 7:50 AM, immediately after the attack. Trashigang Hospital had referred him to Monggar Regional Hospital.
The man, along with his friends had gone to see the leopard after others had told him about the sighting of the animal when the incident occurred.
