A 21-year-old man, hit by an arrow in Paro, has been referred to Thimphu Hospital. The incident happened yesterday at around 8:15 AM near the Archery stadium in Paro Town.
According to his father, the victim was cycling alone to work when suddenly a stray arrow hit him on his lower abdomen. The victim was admitted to the district hospital but discharged the same morning.
Towards the afternoon, following complaints of severe pain the patient was brought back and later forwarded to Thimphu Referral Hospital. He is currently recovering after undergoing surgery.
