The wildlife rescue team rescued a male samba deer from the helipad area in Changjalu in Thimphu, today. Deputy Chief Forest Officer said the deer, about five years old, was found at 7:30 in the morning. The animal was treated for chest injury. A pack of dogs is said to have chased the animal. The deer has been released in a safe area, a few kilometers away from the city.
