A long line of huts, which housed 13 families, was razed to the ground in Changzamtog, Thimphu, at 4 PM, today. Two cylinders also exploded, leaving shattered splinters on the road.
Although, no casualties or injuries were reported, the families residing in the huts lost all belongings to the mishap.
Fire fighters were able to bring the fire under control in about two hours.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
