Eastern United wins National Archery Tournament

Eastern United wins National Archery TournamentTeam Eastern United wins this year’s Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Archery Tournament played with traditional equipment. Team Eastern United, with drivers as most of the players, defeated team Druk Green Power Corporation in the continuing match today.

Since this is their third consecutive win, they will be allowed to keep the trophy.

The final, which began yesterday, saw both the teams winning a set each. But in the deciding set today, Eastern United outshone their opponent. The Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Archery Tournament was instituted in 1970.
