Over 50 artisans received certificate for completing trainings held across the country, today. Some new products, such as wooden earring, bracelet, and wooden lamps were also launched and displayed.
The training was organised by Agency for Promotion of Indigenous Crafts with support from UNDP. So far 180 artisans were trained across the country to create self-employment and promote the craft sector.
The training is also focused on diversifying products which are potential to be crafted and sold to improve the livelihood.
