A Baseball team from Bhutan left the country, today, to participate at the “World Children’s Baseball Fair”, in Fukui, Japan.
Five children out of the 37 registered were selected from the coaching session held in May in Thimphu. The Children were being coached by volunteers from JICA and JOCV in Thimphu.
The World Children’s Baseball Fair promotes worldwide baseball expansion while encouraging international exchange among different nations.
The Fair hosted by the World Children’s Baseball Foundation of Japan in association with the International Baseball Federation begins from tomorrow and ends on 26th August.
