Gelegphu Dungkhag court sentenced a 24-year-old man to five years imprisonment for involuntary manslaughter of a 57-year-old man.
The deceased, who was a taxi driver, was stabbed on his head and neck. The incident took place December, last year.
The verdict was passed today.
According to the verdict, the convict will also have to pay Nu.500,000 to the deceased’s family as compensation.
