Class XII results declared

ScienceToppers--The results for Bhutan Higher Secondary Examination Certificate for class twelve 2014 examinations were declared in a press conference, today.

Jambay Kinley, from Ugyen Academy topped the science stream with 91 percent. Jigme wangmo came second with 88.75 percent and Pema Selden came third with 88.25 percent.

In commerce stream, Kinga Pelden also from Ugyen Academy came first with 89.50 percent. Juhee Kim came second with 85.5 percent and Thinlay Penjor third with 81 percent.CommerceToppers-

In Arts, Sonam Tshomo from Motithang Higher Secondary school came first with 89 percent. Bikas Rai and Dorji Yangzom came second with 83.50 percent, and Leki Tshering came third with 80 percent.Arts

The overall pass percentage was 89.38, which was an increase of 2.77 percent over 2013 pass percentage of 86.61 percentages.

Over 10,200 students from 50 higher secondary schools had appeared the examination.

The result of the BHSEC (XII) 2014 examinations is considered one of the best since 2006.LCSCE-

Tshewang Gyeltshen topped the Language and Culture Studies certificate examination 2014. Jigme Wangchuk came second and Dawa came third.

Individual candidates can access their results from the BCSEA website www.bcsea.bt and also through SMS. If you are using Tcell, type index number and send to 4040 and if you are using Bmobile type r12 space type index no and send it to 3333.

Candidates will be able to collect their mark sheets and pass certificate from their respective school by second week of March this year.
