His Majesty grants audience in Trashigang

His Majesty grants audience in TrashigangHis Majesty the King granted audience to people of Thrimshing and Kangpar Gewogs in Thrimshing under Trashigang, yesterday.

Thousands from Kangpar, Thrimshing and some parts of Khaling and Lumang Gewogs gathered in Thrimshing to meet His Majesty the King. This is His Majesty’s first visit to Thrimshing and Kangpar Gewogs.

His Majesty said he is pleased to visit Thrimshing and Kangpar Gewogs and meet the people. His Majesty also wished Chunyipai Losar Tashi Delek to the people.

His Majesty hosted a Tokha for the people. A lottery draw was also conducted, where essential items were granted as prizes to the winners.

Later in the afternoon, His Majesty visited Lhakhangs in Thrimshing and Tsangpo to offer Nyendhar and prayers. His Majesty also visited the Basic Health Unit in Thrimshing, where a team of doctors is providing free health check up and minor surgeries and operations, on the command of His Majesty the King.
