Disabled Persons’ Association of Bhutan receives assistive devices

Disabled Persons’ Association of Bhutan+ assistive devicesThe Disabled Persons’ Association of Bhutan received assistive devices, worth Nu.800, 000 from a charity called PhysioNet founded in York, England.

The assistive devices include hospital and physiotherapy equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, walking sticks, among others.

The Executive Director of Disabled Persons’ Association of Bhutan, Sonam Wangmo said the assistive devices will be distributed to Ability Bhutan Society and Draktso Vocational Institute. Some of it will also be distributed to the people with special needs across the country.
