Drukair’s domestic flight operations to Bumthang will be temporarily suspended from 25th of this month till the February 17 as the airline’s domestic plane ATR will be flown to India for maintenance.
The maintenance is part of 12 years structural inspection of the aircraft under the aircraft maintenance programme mandated by the Department of Civil Aviation.
While carrying out the maintenance, the airplane’s structures will be meticulously checked to see the damages and do the repairs.
Drukair officials say airplanes are maintained to the highest standards.
