(Update):The investigating team is waiting for the final review, even though the findings – of the re-investigation on Ura Middle Secondary School’s Principal – were supposed to be revealed last week.
The final review is to be done with the dzongkhag authority before disclosing the findings. The re-investigation was completed on December 13.
The dzongkhag authority said they do not want to take any chance with the investigation and are meticulously finalize the investigation result.
They say they will send the report to the education ministry and a copy to the Anti-Corruption Commission after reviewing the results thoroughly.
ACC had directed the Bumthang Dzongkhag to re-investigate the case involving the allegations of misuse of school funds.
A teacher of Ura Middle Secondary School has alleged the principal of misusing the school’s funds. He had reported the case to the Anti-Corruption Commission in July, this year.
