Two detained for prostitution

pinsoling--engA man and a woman of Indian origin, who were detained for prostitution, are still in Phuenstholing custody.The police had caught them red-handed during a raid in one of the massage parlours in Phuentsholing town.

While one detainee works for the parlour, the other one is a client.

The case has been forwarded to the Office of the Attorney General for prosecution.

Meanwhile, sources say there are some parlours, with certified masseuse, which offers sexual favors in a pretext of giving massage.

Of the 43 saloons and parlours in Phuentsholing, nine provide massage therapy
