Government offices, schools and institutions will remain closed tomorrow to mark the 107th National Day.
It was on this day in 1907, the Trongsa Penlop, Ugyen Wangchuck was unanimously elected as the first Druk Gyalpo of Bhutan.
This year, the day will be celebrated at Sherubtse College in Kanglung. His Majesty the King is in Kanglung to celebrate the Day. His Majesty the fourth Druk Gyalpo is also in Kanglung to grace the celebration.
His Majesty the King will address the Nation from Kanglung.
The Royal Address will be broadcast LIVE by the Bhutan Broadcasting Service Television and Radio.
