Three Bhutanese students return home with gold medals

MEdal-MathematiciansConventionThree Bhutanese students returned home with three gold medals from the 6th International Young Mathematicians’ Convention in Lucknow in India.

Dawa Zangmo, Tashi Tenzin and Mani Kumar Chhettri, all class 11 students, from Ugyen Academy in Punakha bagged the gold medals in the senior category in Mathematical Fun Fair. They competed against 82 international schools from 22 countries.

The event had Maths Quiz, Relay Round Maths, Team Activity Contest and Mathematical Fun Fair.
