BCSE examination results announced

BCSE2014ToppersThe results of the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE) were announced today. University graduates from the Royal Thimphu College, Ngajur Nyingma Institute and Dr. Y S R Horticultural University from India emerged as the toppers in three different categories of the examination.

In the General Category, Yeshey Choden with B.A. Environmental Studies and English from the Royal Thimphu College topped the exam. She had appeared for Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

Thubten Zepa Thegchog with B.A Buddhist Philosophy from Ngajur Institute from India topped the Dzongkha category.

In technical category, Tashi Gyalmo from Dr. Y S R Horticultural University in India topped the exam.

Over 1,100 graduates appeared in the exam of which more than 700 secured 50 percent and above.

The selection and placement will be carried this month based on the merit ranking of the exam and vacancies available.
