The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has frozen the land transactions of 12 individuals, mostly connected to former Chang Gup Naku’s alleged land scam.

A 50-decimal dry land and 1.19 acres of Agri-based environment land in the name of former Chang Gup Naku have been frozen. The list also includes a 11-decimal dry land in the name of Telecom CEO, Tshewang Gyeltshen.

The ACC detained former Chang Gup Naku, the Chief executive Officer of Bhutan Telecom, Tshewang Gyeltshen and National Land Commission’s Legal Head, Karma Jamtsho, last month in connection with an alleged land scam.

However, all of them have been released although the investigation still continues.

ACC is also investigating 8.58 acres dry land in the name of Migma Tshering Nadik under Mewang Gewog.
