The wildlife experts say the new development adds to Bhutan’s effort in tiger conservation. Bhutan serves as the critical link in the world that connects two important tiger conservation landscapes; Terai Arc Landscape and North East Indian Tiger Conservation Landscape.
Over 300 cameras have been placed in the Royal Manas National Park and Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park as part of research. From 2010 till now, images of 12 tigers have been captured by these cameras.
The International Wildlife Expert from North Carolina University, Professor Scott Mills says people of the world are excited about the conservation of bio-diversity in Bhutan. He said it needs to be done with strong science.
