The Chief Executive Officer of Bhutan Telecom, Tshewang Gyeltshen has been released. He was released yesterday.
BBS learned that some part of the investigation does not require the suspect to be under detention which means investigation continues. He was arrested on 18th October. Prior to the present post, he was serving as the Director, Land Registration Division of the National Land Commission. It was only recently that he was selected as the CEO of the Bhutan Telecom.
Meanwhile, Former Chang Gup, Naku and the Land Commission’s legal head, Karma Jamtsho, are still under police custody. All three are allegedly involved in a land scam.
