Bicycle-LhamoiDzingkha-If you happen to visit Lhamoi Dzingkha Dungkhag in Dagana, you will straightaway notice people riding bicycles. Most residents use bicycle to get by.

For a villager like Sancha Raj, bicycle is mainly to transport daily ration to his village, which is about 15 kilometres away from the town.  He said, the area being at the foothills, slopes are gentle, which make it convenient for them to opt for ordinary city bikes.

Our reporter Sonam Wangdi, who was in Lhamoi Dzingkha, says the town’s small size makes bicycles a viable means of transportation.
