His Majesty arrives in Gelegphu after visiting Zhemgang

HM-Zhemgang-Sarpang-- His Majesty the King accompanied by Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen, arrived in Gelegphu on Sunday after visiting Buli village in Nangkor Gewog in Zhemgang.

Their Majesties travelled to Buli in Zhemgang on Thursday and visited Tali Kunzang Choekhor Ling Shedra along the way. Their Majesties offered prayers at the Lhakhang and granted an audience to the monks at the Shedra.HM-Zhemgang-Sarpang---Their Majesties also met with hundreds of people and students who had lined up along the farm road to Buli to offer Tshogchang. In Buli, their Majesties resided in tents pitched on the school ground of Buli Middle Secondary School. His Majesty granted an audience to the entire school, as well as students from Tshildang Community Primary School on Friday. Their Majesties also visited Buli Shedra.

On Saturday, His Majesty granted Tokha to the people of Buli and the nearby villages, who arrived at the school ground in thousands to meet their King and Queen.

Their Majesties met with thousands of people in Tingtibi and Jigmechhoeling, while travelling to Gelegphu on Sunday.

His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen are on a tour of the central and southern regions of the country. While in Zhemgang, His Majesty granted 75,393 acres of land as kidu to the people.

His Majesty is now in Gelegphu to review the security situation in the wake of recent kidnappings. Yesterday morning, His Majesty the King granted an audience to the students of Gelegphu Higher Secondary School, and government officials in Gelegphu and Sarpang.
