The distribution of domestic LPG will be now streamlined through the LPG Consumer Card System.
Under the system, a card will be issued to eligible households for cooking purposes in rural and urban areas.

All eligible households are to avail LPG consumer card from the nearest Regional Trade and Industry Offices. The system will be implemented with effect from October 1 for the western region and from November for the central and eastern region this year.
