Bhutan wins two bronze medals at Asian bodybuilding championship

Two bronze medals were awarded to the Bhutanese athletes at the 48th Asian Bodybuilding Fitness and Physique Sports Championships held in Macau, China.

Twenty three-year-old Yeatoeh Lhamu Penjore has won bronze in the model physique 165 cm category.

Last year, Yeatoeh received a medal of appreciation from the World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation. Yeatoeh has also been honoured for being the first Bhutanese woman at the World Bodybuilding and Physique Federation Sports Championship in Hungary.

Mr. Bhutan second runner- up, Sangay Tsheltrim has also won bronze in men’s athletic physique.

Thirty eight-year-old Mr. Bhutan first runner-up, Tandin Wangchen, came fourth in the super heavy weight category.

Over 300 athletes from more than 40 countries participated in the 48th Asian Bodybuilding Fitness and Physique Sports Championships.
