Seventeen students of Gaeddu College of Business Studies have been under Gedu Police custody since August 10.
They were detained for their involvement in a fight with a karaoke bar owner in Gedu town. The bar owner is also in police custody.
The fight initially broke out between one of the students and the karaoke bar owner on August 9. The bar owner is said to have beaten the boy badly.
The next morning the alleged students had gone to the karaoke bar owner’s resident to get back at him.
The case is currently with the Office of the Attorney General for review.
