A bird strike to an engine fan blade has forced Drukair to make an emergency landing at the Hazrat Shahjalal International airport in Dhaka, Bangladesh, today.
The plane was bound for Bangkok via Dhaka.
The plane had to make an emergency landing shortly after taking-off from the airport after the pilot discovered some problems with the engine.
An official from the Drukair said one of the plane’s fan blades had been damaged.
The officials said a relief aircraft was sent to fly the passengers to Bangkok.
