To address problems in regulating telecommunications in South Asia, a three-day international conference is being held in Paro. Fifty telecommunication regulators from 8 South Asian countries are participating. A MoU was also signed between the BICMA and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. The MoU will provide a framework for promotion of exchange and cooperation in telecommunications and broadcasting.
