Thimphu ‘A’ Team won the first International Taekwondo Championship which was held in Thimphu. While Bodoland Taekwondo Club from India came second, Thimphu Private Taekwondo Club stood third. A total of seven teams, including four teams from India, participated in the championship. It was organised by Thimphu Taekwondo Club in collaboration with Bhutan Taekwondo Federation.
