The finals of the open football championship was held in Gelegphu on Thursday. Hatisar, a team from the neighbouring Indian town, defeated a team from AWP. Hatisar scored three goals while AWP managed to score only two goals. Sixteen teams including teams from Zhemgang and Assam took part in the tournament. It was organised by a group of football enthusiasts.
