According to the announcement posted on the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) website, the RCSC exempted certain graduates from sitting for the preliminary examination (PE) this year.
These are in the categories of MBBS, MBBS with specialisation in Pulmonary Medicine or Comprehensive General Medicine, and Bachelors in Dental surgery.
These graduates will now directly sit for the Bhutan Civil Service Examination (BCSE).
While for the other categories of graduates it will remain the same.
The preliminary examination is conducted to test the minimum standard required for a candidate to appear for the main examination.
The preliminary examination is scheduled for August 10.
