In order to develop English language teaching skills in shedras and nunneries, monks and nuns took part in a 10 day Functional English training workshop. Some 38 monks from 11 Shedras and 10 nuns from 4 nunneries took part in the workshop. The sessions were conducted by instructors from the Ministry of Education. It was funded by the UNICEF. The training ended in Paro yesterday.
