Ambassador of Japan calls on Prime Minister

Ambassador of Japan-Takeshi Yagi- calls on Prime Minister. Ambassador of Japan to Bhutan, Takeshi Yagi called on the Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay yesterday.

After thanking the ambassador for his visit, Lyonchhen said that Bhutan was very fortunate to be friends with Japan and the goodwill of Japan has been benefitting the country tremendously.

On behalf of the Japanese government, Ambassador Yagi told Lyonchhen that they were highly pleased and touched with Lyonchhoen’s visit to Japan a few weeks ago.

The duo held a discussion on rural development and enhancing productivity in agriculture.

The Japanese ambassador reiterated that they would remain willing and ever ready to extend their wholehearted support to Bhutan in the coming days.
