HRH Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck conferred an Honorary Membership of the Thai Bar Association

HRHPrincess-Sonam-Dechan-Wangchuck-HonoraryMembership-Thai Bar AssociationThe President of the Bhutan National Legal Institute, Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck, was conferred an Honorary Membership of the Thai Bar Association in Bangkok, Thailand, yesterday.

Her Royal Highness is the first recipient of the Honorary Membership outside of the Thai Royal family and the eighth recipient of the Honorary Membership.

The Thai Bar Association made this presentation after 17 years since it was last presented to Her Royal Highness Princess Vajrakitiyabha in 1997.

The list of eight recipients includes His Majesty the King Mongkut, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and five other royal family members of Thailand.
