The much-awaited pay revision will come into effect from this month, a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance says.
Public and civil servants will get the revised salary as endorsed by the recent parliament. The Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers and equivalent postsholders, Parliamentarians and Constitutional Post holders will draw the salary as endorsed as well.
The pay revision for the local government functionaries will also come to effect from this month. However, the pay raise for the state-owned enterprises will be dealt at a later date, says the Ministry of Finance.
