Art camp for a cause. To mark the 25 years of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Children, 80 students from across the country attended a week-long Summer Art Camp. The camp is organised by UNICEF, in collaboration with Education Ministry, Bhutan Postal Corporation and VAST Bhutan.

The 80 students were selected through a Nationwide Art Competition organised in June. The selected children worked on their paintings from their respective schools in preparation for the camp, “Imagine our future”.

The art camp, apart from painting, focused on child rights and other social issues.

All their art works were showcased today to mark the closing event of the camp.
