His Majesty installs Sachu Bumter

HM Installs Sachu Bumter at Wangdue Dzong His Majesty the King installed Sachu Bumter at the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, where the Utse and the Kuenrey of the Dzong will be built.

The installation of the Sachu Bumter signifies the re-sanctification of a site and restores blessing to it. The reconstruction of the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong began in January this year. Upon the Command of His Majesty the King, the dzong will be rebuilt to its former architectural magnificence, while incorporating modern technology to make the structure more resilient.

The Lam Neten of the Wangdue Phodrang rabdey offered Yangbum to His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen for their long life. The Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, government officials and members of the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong Reconstruction Committee attended the ceremony.HM Grants Audience to Scouts

Meanwhile, His Majesty the King also granted an Audience to the participants of the 2nd Scout Leadership Training Programme.
