Two men confesses to chorten vandalism

ChortenVandalisedTwo men from Lumang Gewog in Trashigang, who were detained in connection with the chorten vandalism case, have confessed to the crime. The two were involved in the vandalism of a chorten in Dori in Lumang Gewog back in 1996.

They were arrested after an informer recently heard about their involvement in the crime and reported it to the police. Wamrong Police have recovered a mud stupa from them. The case will be forwarded to the court.
