His Majesty hosts luncheon in honour of India’s PM

His Majesty's Luncheon for PM Modi. His Majesty the King hosted luncheon at Tashichhodzong in honour of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Narendra Modi was received by the five lopens of Zhung Dratshang and Cabinet Ministers at the dzong’s gate.


Later at the courtyard Mr. Modi was escorted by His Majesty the King, His Majesty the fourth King and Her Majesty the Gyaltsuen.

Narendra Modi and His Majesty the King cut a cake at the dzong’s courtyard. The gesture symbolises the bond between the two countries.
